Responsibilities of UTA Board Members

• Attend all board of directors' conference calls or in-person meetings, as well as assigned committee meetings.
• Be informed about our association's mission, purpose, goals, services, policies, programs, strengths, and needs.
• Be prepared by reviewing all agendas and supporting materials before all board and committee meetings.
• Inform others about the organization. Advocate for the organization. Leverage connections, networks, and resources to develop collective action to fully achieve UTA's mission.
• Maintain confidentiality about all internal matters of UTA.
• During your first year, you will be assigned to co-chair a less demanding committee to help you become familiar with UTA's processes.
